We at BBS only use specially developed aluminium alloys for our light alloy wheels. Right from the start, when the raw materials are being sourced, we set great store by perfection, as it is these raw materials that ultimately give each light alloy wheel its specific characteristics. These alloys are the upshot of 35 years of experience in motor racing and on the open road. The exact formulae for our alloys are therefore a closely guarded secret and are only revealed to a very small circle of employees. Another important factor in developing outstanding product quality is the precise controlling of the casting machines because it is at this stage that the foundations are laid for the wheel's perfect finishing further down the line.
