Multistage coating

The surface coating process is made up of a chrome-free conversion coating, also known as a passivate coating, and a multistage coating. The multistage coating is incredibly environmentally friendly as it uses dilutable powder and water coating which produces considerably fewer solvent emissions. There are also further advantages to be gained by using the powder coatings. The horizontal application ensures that the coating is thicker as it is more even than vertical coatings. The overall twice-as-thick top coat increases its scratch resistance and slows the corrosion process which means it is far more resilient to winter conditions.
