BBS rim protectors protect the wheel from being damaged when, for example, touching curbs.
Rim protectors are available in different diameters (18”-22”) and individual colors, matching the color of your wheels:

  • Center cap

    Each set of BBS wheels includes standard center caps (2D BBS Logo in silver, black background) in the scope of delivery. Additional center caps are available in numerous designs as an individual upgrade:

  • Wheel bolts

    For mounting the wheel on the hub adapter, wheel bolts developed especially for the BBS Unlimited wheel system are available in steel (black or silver) as well as titanium.

    BBS Unlimited wheel bolts can only be used in combination with Unlimited wheels. 

  • Valve caps

    To protect the valves, BBS valve caps made from high-quality aluminium are available with BBS Logo and the colors chrome, black, red, blue, gold and bronze.

The low-pressure casting process with its controlled and careful cooling process, tailored for every wheel, ensures a perfect microstructure for the wheel blank. The BBS Flow Forming wheels are cast as a compact blank, which is then elongated in the subsequent Flow Forming process. All BBS Flow Forming casting blanks are only cast in the BBS main factory in the Black Forest.

  • Die-casting

    The low-pressure casting process with its controlled and careful cooling process, tailored for every wheel, ensures a perfect microstructure for the wheel blank. The BBS Flow Forming wheels are cast as a compact blank, which is then elongated in the subsequent Flow Forming process. All BBS Flow Forming casting blanks are only cast in the BBS main factory in the Black Forest.

  • Flow Forming

    The wheels are weight-optimized using a flow-forming process specially developed for motorsport. In this process, the cast/forged blank is rolled out in the rim area under high pressure. This leads to a compression of the material and thus to an increase in strength with a simultaneous significant reduction in weight.

  • Weight optimized

    The spokes are back-milled, which results in a light alloy wheel that has the ideal balance of weight and stability. This is accomplished by utilizing a specialized CNC machining technique in which the lateral parts holding the spokes and those not necessary for stability are eliminated in order to reduce the weight of the rotational mass of the wheel.

  • X-Ray inspection

    100% inspection: after low pressure casting all rim blanks are examined by x-ray so as to be sure to detect any potential air pockets or surface defects. No mistakes are tolerated. Not a single wheel leaves our premises without being x-rayed!

  • Heat treatment

    Unlike many Asian or other European producers, our wheels are heat threated. This is crucial for stability of the aluminum and hence guarantees the first-rate quality and high durability of our products.

  • Painting

    In addition, our environmentally-friendly paints, paintwork processes also comply with 100% of the original equipment quality standards of the leading premium vehicle manufactures. Furthermore, meticulous quality inspections ensure that our wheels always present an immaculate surface finish.

  • Quality

    With FEM analysis, done according to the „finite element method“, the structural behavior characteristics of a new wheel model - for example in regard to strength or dynamics - are determined via computer and optimized during the construction phase. Using FEM analysis, the behavior of a wheel model under real operating conditions and stress can be simulated.
